Lighthouse
How often do you meet people from whom light emanates, who help you stay on the path you have set? In my life thirteen years ago there was such a person. In 2007, I just started to get involved in photography, abandoned my active sports career and went into an equally active creative life. In 2018, she was preparing for the twelfth time to go to the All-Russian Delphic Games. For me, this is not just another photo contest, it's a contest where you really feel the struggle… where you meet really worthy competitors. In the hands of tickets to Vladivostok… Vladivostok won me over with its scale, seaport, ocean and people. I just shot everything around, I could not stop. But the problem was different, how to create a single project from all this. And then came the revelation… There is a lighthouse on the horizon! Here it is the long-awaited frame from which the story begins. There was a desire to take pictures of people who work in the seaport, but alas, there is no passage there… And then I went to one of the streets. Katernaya street. The life of people from Katernoy Street is not a rainbow over their heads, their life is an endless storm. But day after day they return to their native spaces, to those same old streets. They remember their childhood and that very coast. The coast that showed them the way to life. I have a silver medal in my hands, and in my head and heart is the name of my teacher, the very one who set me on the true path, who showed me the way to life.
